Sir Geo. Grey has had communication with the Opppositionists in the South, and considers the position of his party good and uofc so weak as represented. A meeting of leaders to the opposition is to be he'd before Parliament meets to settle the coui'se to be followed on the meeting of the House, Sir G. Grey's party considers a Coalition between his followers and those of Major Atkinson impossib'e after the manner the Auckland G revile candidates have been opposed by the Government.
The trustees under the \srlU of the late Mi' Costley have made application to the Supreme Court for 5 per ceut comission for their services in connection with the testamentary estate. The Judge said that would amount to £5000, and took time to consider his decision.
