All Lauds lienated from the Crown after the coming ate operation ot " The Land Transfer A . 1870," are subject to, and must be dea> with, in manner prescribed by )he Act. The following are examples f the fee payable for bringing the land under the pro visions of the Land Transfer Act: — 1. When the Title consists of a Grant, dated on or subsequent to the 28th December, 1841, none of the land included in which has been dealt with — VVhere the Certificate of tit ib directed to issue in the name of the A iplicant : Value of laud £100 m 11 2 Where the Certificate of title is directed to issue in the uame of the Purchaser: Value of land £100 1 10 0 These charges are increased by 4s 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. 2. When the Applicant is the original Grantee, and tho land has been dealt with ; or where the Applicant is not tho original Grantee — Where the value of the land is £100 £2 14 2 Where the value of the land £200 3 3 Where the value of the land is £30 3 12 6 I Where the value of the land is £400 4 18 1 Where tho value of land is above £400, the fees ncrease at the rate of 4« 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. These ehorgee also represent the cost of Conveying Land. Inasmuea as applicants to bring land under the Act can direct the Certiiieates of Title to isßue in the names of any other persons. Credit for Fees is Given, When desired by the Ap^ licant in all cases where tiie proprietor applies to have the land registered under the Act in his own uame, and we leis may remain unp until and ib dealt with. Any person, therefore, who wishes to brinn his land uuder the provisions of the Act, ig order tha: whenever he deals with it he may be iv a position to avail himself of the facilities aliorded by having a Kegistered Title, can do so Witkout Any Present Cost, by allowing the fees to remain uupaid until euch dealing takes place. iia will then bo iv v position to Mortgage, Transfer, Lease, or otherwise deal with hu laud at a uiouieut's notice. Any Title, however long and complex, may be investigated at a cost to the Applicant of only Five Shillings ; lor if the Title is ro- ! jected al fees are returned, with the exception of he rent. ALL TITLES ARE GUARANTEED BY THE GOVERN AIENT.
