A requisition is being got np in Roslyn to ask Mr Poss, the member for that district, to resign, in consequence of his having voled against the Vogel-Stout Ministry. Christchurch, 1.

A sad accident occurred at Linwood thia morning. A little girl, 4 years of age, was scalded to death. She was the daughter of Robt. J, Harrison. It appears that her mother was engngad

The motion for adjournment was put and agreed 10, and the House adjourned until Wednesday at 2.30. It is rumoured that the new Ministry will be made np as follows : — A'ogel, Stout, Ballanne, Larnach. Richardson, Tole and Kendall, Johnston in the Upper House. Nothing however is yet definitely known.
