FIFTH GRAND HAMBURG DRAWING IS NOW OPEN. rpHE Four previous drawings were A filled, and all applications that came too late for the Fourth will be registered in this Drawing. The Fifth Grand Urawing fur L 4 000 will close the end of October, and the zixth Drawing will open on the lßt November. This Fifth Grand Drawing will consist of 320 Money PiUZES, amounting toL4OOO subscribed by 8000 members at 10/- each] The various Money Frizes will be distributed as follows : — 1 L3OO Prize 15 L 25 Prizes 1 200 „ 15 20 „ 1 100 „ 15 15 2 50 „ IGO 10 , .10 30 „ 100 5 ,] Total Amount, £4000. 320 Money Prizes. The Grand principle of these Hamburg Drawings is that a purchaser of 25 Programing is guaranteed a Prize, and the chances are in favour of the investor drawing a large prize, as there are 220 large prizes to 100 small ones. To an investor of L 2 the chances are only 6 to 1 against him drawing a prize, aud the Hmd° Prize or any other may be drawn by an investor of 10/. Read this Carefully.— In JBoiz's Gran • Hamburg drawings the greatest odd 3 are only 25 to 1 against an investor of 10/- drawing a prize. But carefully note Borne of the Horse Con ultations on the Melbourne Cup, advertising 20,000 members at 10/- each, equal to LIO,OOO. Ihe Cup gives 133 nominations, so that the odds are over 150 to 1 against an investor drawing a horse. . Now take the Cash Frizes drawn at the sama time, and calculate the odds ; you will find in each of the Cash awards that the odds vary from 200 to 5000 to 1 against an investor drawing a Cash Prize.. The whole 20,000 marbles are advertised to be replaced for each Drawing of the Cash Prizes, which gives the enormous odds against investors. The Company would simply ask investors to calculate the odds before placing their investments in any horse consultation ; and the Company would not presume to teli the public that they have a number of chances and can win a number of prizes forii single investment of 10/. This Fifth Grand Drawing for L4OOO will take place under the supervision of a committee of eight gentlemen, and the prizes will be paid over, as early as possible after the drawing.
