All Lauds lienated from th 6 Crown after the coming ate operation of " Tbe Land Transfer A . 1870," are subject to, and must be deal with, in manner prescribed by )he Act. The following are examples t the fee payable for bringing the laud under the pro visions of tbe Land Transfer Act: — 1. When the Title consists of a Grant, dated on or subsequent to the 28th Deoember, 1841, none of the land included in which has been dealt with — Where the Certificate of tit ib directed to issue in tne name of tbe A iplicaut : Value of land ' £100 ft) 11 2 Where tbe Certificate of title is directed to issue iv the name of the Purchaser: Value of land £100 ... ... ... ... 1 10 0 These charges are increased by 4s 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £100 in value. 2. When the Applicant is the original Grantee, and the land ban been dealt with ; or where the Applicant is not the original Grantee — Where tbe value of tbe land is £100 ... £2 14 2 Where tbe value of the land £200 ... ... ... ... 3 3 Wliere the value of the land is £30 8 12 6 Where the value of the land is £400 4 1 8 Where the value of land is above £400, the lees ncrease at the rate of 4« 2d (Assurance Fund) lor every additional £100 iv value. These charges also represent the cost of Conveying Laud. Inasmuch as applicants to bring land under the Act can direct the Certificates of Title to issue in the uumes of any other persons. Credit for Fees is Given, When desired by tbe Applicant in all cases where tne proprietor applies to have the land registered under the Act in his own name, and tuc fe?« may remain unp until aad is dealt with. Auy person, therefore, who wishes to brinn his land under the provisions of the Act, ig order, lha: whenever he deals with it he may be iv a position to avuil himsulf of the iacilities ati'orded by having a .Registered Title, can do so W itkout Auy Present Cost, by allowing the fees to remain unpaid until such dealing takes place. lie will then be iv a position to jiJortgage, Transfer, Lease, or othvrwiße deal with his land ut a moment's notice. Any Title, however long and' complex, may be investigated at a cost to the Applicant ol only Five Shillings; lor if the 'litie is rejected al fees are returned, with the exception of he iei>t.
