INKERMAN.

The returns from this mine for the past week show's, very encouraging improvement, and there is eveiy prospect of the improvement being maintained. This result has been chiefly brought about by improvements effected by the directors in the amalgamating process. This company has from the outset been beset with a number of unavoidable difficulties, but these have at length been all sur mounted, aud there is no doubt that henceforth crushing will proceed without interruption and with a steadily increasing profit. The fall of stone in the mine has now been cleared away, and the workings have been securely timbered and fi I«d in, so that future operations will be car ried on without danger or hindrance.
