NOTICE. ri T HEREAS certain reports have ' ' been for some time circulated in this town and district, ard more particularly of late to the effect that I am guilty of having set fire to certain premises in this town and of having committed other crimes and offences of a henious nature, this is to give notice that I hereby distinctly deny having committed either crimes or offences for which I might he punishable and I also challenge any person or persons alleging that I have committed any offence to lay a charge against me to that effect, and liave the matter investigated.
