POLITICAL DECORUM.
(To thb Editor, Isasqabxja. Times.)
Sir- I stand corrected if in terror but I alwnya understood it to b»*»recognise 1 rale or practice fur Count jfc Councillors M *ell ac Parliamentary . reptapntattvee,
it the expiratiouiif their term, and before leeking re-election, to call a meeting of iheir constituents and give an account of their stewartship. And also fur new members a&uiriiiu to public honors to place their political views before the public, either through the Press or from a public platform. I trust our ex-members seeking re-election will have the courtesy to do so, and let the public know what they havt done to 'ustify their return. It would no doubt be exceedingly edifying to Ijsten to an oration from ex-Cr. Patterson on the subject of his put hobli) "County Bills." Amongst the fresh aspirants there is a creditable choice of eligible candidates to select from, but I much regret that "Oor Dave" is- not amongst the nominated, but I am told bin aspirations lead more towards tlio M.H 11. distinction, therefore his opportunity n>> doubt lies in thu far distant future. I am, etc., John Bulu
