HOSPITAL CARNIVAL. mHE CARNIVAL will take place on 1 TUESDAY, 80th DECEMBER, 1884, at the RACE COURSE. The Friendly Societies, headed by the Band, will leave the Oddfellow's Hall at 12.80. p.m. Sports of varied description will be provided. Dancing Platform, Friendly Societies and Children's Races also the HOS ITAL HANDICAP FOOT race: 100— 200— 800— and 440 yards. First prize: £5; second, £3 ; third, £2 ; fourth £1 ; Nominations 2/6, acceptances 2/Nominations will close on 22nd, December 1884.
