FRESH DISCOVERIES OF SILVER ORE.

We are now, however, in !>oss»-ssion of an assay certificate from Messrs. Ground, Gliddon and Co., of Silverton, conceiniiiLj a sample of ore obtained only thirty five miles from Wilcnnnia, and forwarded to them for examitmtiott, so thst thrre is no necesitv f«.r farther retirence on the matter. Tim ore contains 59 p«r cent, of leid and at the rate of 390z 4dwt of silver per ton. A higher return, it may Im> meatioued, waa expected, jnd^in^ from
the appearance of the simple, bat it s^ems tlmt it cortuined a large percentage of arsenic, which made it look like high-class steel-^rained ore.
