Wearing apparel of every kind Needle work, knitting and crochet combined. " Maarical Fishpond " — and fishing-rod You'll fancy yourself in the land of Nod Dreaming of Genii and fairies bright When you'll see how the little fishes can bite. " Mysterious Well" — when you'll plunge yeur hand Into its depths, how amazed you'll stand To see what a wonderfull prise you'll find, (Just for one sixpence bear in mind). And then there is the ** Lucky-bag Oh : what fun, Full of nice things — not a single one Will leave that bag without bearing away. Some present wrapped up inacoveriuggay " Lottery Tables," wheresixpence will buy A chance forsomefiveshilling object just try And imagine what lots of bewildering toys Five shillings can buy for your girls and boys Small boys be frugal, just now if you can, Oh ! buy no more lollies, you dear little man Nor shanghais to slaughter poor birds in the bush I (T'is a pity those sweet birdies warblings to hush). Save up ev'ry sixpence you prodigal few We'll have drums, flutes and fiddles and pop-guns for you, Whips, tool-bexes, pocket-knives, all that a boy, Can depict to himself .as the acme of joy. And girls, remember, the stall where you'll see Uncountable dolls dressed in costume — twill be A beautiful sight for a Queen will be there (Cleopatra of Egypt with none to compare) And numberless others from Lammermoor's Bride To old Un^le Sambo going out for a ride Aud the little old woman who lived in a shoe And had so many children she" didn't know what to do. In conclusion, the stall holders of the Reefton Catholic Bazaar take this opportunity of intimating to the Inangahua public that they are sparing neither time nor trouble to render the stalls attractive, and all they demand in return, is that yoa will not enter the Bazaar with your pocsets turned inside out.
