All Lands lignated from the Crown after the coming ate operation of "The Land Transfer A . 1870," are subject to, and must bedew with, in manner prescribed by »he Act. The following are examples f the fee payable for bringing the land under the pro visions of the Land Transfer Act : — 1. When the Title consists of a Grant, dated on or subsequent to the 28th December, 1841, none of the land included in which has been dealt with— vVhere the Certificate of tit v directed to issue in tne name of the A iplicant : Talue of land £100 tO 11 3 Where the Certificate of title is directed to issue in the name of the Purchaser: Value of land £100 1 10 0 These charges are increased by 4s 3d (Assurance Fund) for every addition*! £100 in value: S. When the Applicant is the original Grantee, and the land has been dealt with ; or where the Applicant is not the original Grantee — Where tbe value of the land is £100 £8 14 2 Where the value of the land £2OQ S » Where the value of the land is £30 8 12 6 Where the value of the land is £400 4 18 Where tho value of land is above £400, the lees ncrease at the rate of 4s 2d (Assurance Fund) for every additional £IVO in value. These aharges also represent the cost of Conveying Land. Inasmuem as applicants to bring land under the Act can direot the Certificates of litle to issue in the names of any other persons. Credit for Fees is Given, When desired by the Applicant in all eases where tne proprietor applies to have the land registerea under the Act in. his own u&me, uid tue fets may remain unp until and ie dealt with. Axy person, therefore, who wishes to brinn his laud under the provisions of the Act, if order that whenever he deals with it he may be in a position to avail himseU' of the facilities ah'orded by having a Registered Title, can do so W itkout Any Present Cost, by allowing the fees to remain unpaid unul such dealing takes place. He will then be in a position to Alortgage, 'l'ransler, Leaw, or otherwise deal with hu land at a luonimii s notice.
