Lennox Maxwell, who is accused ef the murder, also an Englishman, and one of the Furnaham Maxwells, residing on an estate at Drummela, Ireland. He has disappeared, and the detective learned that he left 'Frisco in disguise on the steamer City »f Sydney under the name of Dangine Preller. The murdered man belonged to the Plymouth Brethern, and was a man of stroaf religious principles.
