The action of John Alves, of Dnne•din, against the company to recover £75 damages, for infringement of patent rights, was heard and d«tertuined at Dunedin, daring the week, the plaintiff being non-suited, the Globe Company obtaining full costs. Daang the week the wire was taken over the hilL This is the last of the heavy work to be done, and no time will now be lost in getting it in working order. Driving for the reef has been delayed during the week, the hands having been engaged in getting the wire over.
