Government would be pleased. Hon. members would admit that the Govern- '■ incut had done ail they could to expedite business, since nearly all their bills have been read a second time Government were prepared to tike the Native Lands Disposition Bill on Monday, the East and West Coast railway matters on Tuesday, and Wednesday, and Friday might be devoted to clearing up other business and perhaps going on with the Estimates. It would be the duty of the j Government next week to consider what bills should be gone on with. Ormoml asked on what day the Local Bodies Finance Rating Powers Bill would be taken. Yogel said Government hoped to be able to bring it down at the end of next week. Yogel moved tha* the resolution of the Committee of the whole in refit ence to the, Frisco mail service be agreed to.
