The Committee were all well-known residents of Dunedin. From the " Otago Daily TvmetJ Dunedin, of May 27th, 1885. Ada Mantua has sent us the names and addresses of the principal winners and also the names of her Committe. Among the Committee there were a number of well known business men, and a representatives from one of the Dunedin newspapers.
