IN conformity with th« 87th section of "Tho Mines Act, 1377," and witli the regulations m::.de under that vet for the granting of leases for yold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is intended to grant a lease of Crown lands for gold-mining purposes to the applicant specified in the annexed Schedule, unless there shall oe valid objections against snch lease. Objections to the granting of such j lease, stating the grounds of objection, mnst be made in writing, and lodged with the Warden, at Reefton, on or before the 30th day of September, 1885.
