They are to be marked on the outside "Tender for Contract No 29 (or as the case may be) Horse Track, Maruia to Amuri, and addressed to the Hon. the Minister of 1 ands, Nelson. Plans, specifications, and general conditions can be seen at the Survey offices, Christchurch, Reef ton, and Nelson ; at the Office of the Am mi Road Board, Waiau ; and at Bait's Store, Muichison. Each tender must be accompanied by a cheque for the amount of deposit, as stated in the general conditions, made payable to the Hon. the Minister of Lands only, and marked correct, by a banker, for 21 days.
