The complement of quartz is now to grass for the present crushing, which will 1 he staited at the Croesus Lattery, when • between 70 and 80 tons is expected to • be put through. The distance to pack stone to the battery is fully 4 miles, and the time has now arrived, when the absolute necessity for the erection t of a 10 heal battery in the vicinity of t these rich leader claims has become i apparent. It is to be hoped that those interested will take the matter in hand , at once.
