A ooat, which hud been ordered to be got ready, was found to be disabled, and the crew clung to pieces of wreckage. The captain, who was clinging to a piece of wreckage, was the last \n-\n saved. The men iv the boat had no provisions nor dry clothes, and were in a state, of exhaustion. They remained in the l»oat from the Sunday morning until the Tuesday following, when they were picked up by the American ship Southern Cross, Cap tain Bailey, from Ho-Ho to New York, by whom they were most kindly treated.
