It is a matter for regret to hear that tlie wire rope imported from Home for u*e on the aerial train way is already showing signs of weakness, the strands i'aviii!: split in a manner to show very detective manufacture. The company have in view of this fact found it necessary to cable Home for another rope, which should reach here towards the «-ud of June. It is not improbable th:it the wot king of the tramway will have to be discontinued after a very short time.
