(FKOM OCR OWN CORRESPONDENT. ) DUNEDIN, 81. At a well attended this evening respecting the strike of compositors, resolutions were carried I expressing sympathy with the men on strike, and declaring Trades Union to be necessary as a safeguard to artisans, and to the interest of society generally. It was also resolved that it was desinibie to start a new morning paper in the interests of the working classes. Boycotting was spoken of, and has already been attempted. It is proposed that advertisers in the present ' morning papers^ should not be supported.
