"that application to borrow loans not i exceeding 455000 shall have priority j over applications for larger sums." j A discussion ensued which was interrupted hy the 530 adjournment, j The House resumed at 7.30. : In Committee on the Government Insurance Bill, Mr G. F. Richardson moved that the rate of interest should be uniform, whatever the amount of the loan. Lost on the voices. The remaining clauses of the Bill were paused, The District Railways Amendment Bill was further considered in Committee, and a number of clauses were passed, when progress was reported. The Local Bodies Finance and Powers Act Amendment Bill was nlso passed through Committee. The Companies Branch Registers Bill was considered in Committee, lead a third time, and passed.
