NOTICE is hereby given That out of the revenue available for Secon dary Education, the Nelson School Commissioners have decided t# offer for yearly competition THREE SCHOLARSHIPS at tbe Nelson Girls' College of the annual value of Twelve Pounds feu Shillings, tenable for two year*. All girls under the age of sixteen years wtio have resided in the Nelson Provincial District during the two years previous to the date of competition will he eligible as competitors for scholarships. Regularity of attendance, good behaviour, and due diligence in the prosecution of her studies, shall be essential to tbe continued holding of a Scholarship, and a certificate from the Lady Principal stating that these conditions have been fulfilled wilt be required each quarter.
