It gives us entire satisfaction ;it burns little fuel, aud is easily kept clean. Yours, etc. DAVID BISSKTT, Victoria Hotel. Invercargill, 26th November, 1895. Messrs John Walker and Co., Victoria Foundry, Invercargill.— Dear Sir-I am very pleased with the range you made for me, with the high pressure boiler. After using an imported range for thirteen years, and one of Slucklocks for two years I consider yours has many advantages over both. In the first place it is cheaper than the Shacklock, besides being two inches higher and two inches deeper. The heating of the oven aud fire arrangements are a great improvement. In fact your ranges are superior to any other New Zealand make—l remain, yours truly, E. H. WHITMORE. Wear Sir.—When you calletl t> *e»- me seven weeks ago and told me what the Herbal remedy " VITADATIO " would do f'>r me. it seemed to be too good to be true, but I have found it even better t'lan you claimed tor it. I have been suffering fiom (Jail Stones for atmut 10 years, and haw, on acv ral oc\ isions, had my life despaired of. I had been constantly ill tor 12 months before you railed and had passed several small stones with great pain. Dunn;.' nine months of the time I suffered from Jaundice aud was uuahle to take solid food. I had the heat medical auvice of the town, and after a consultation the doctors said they could not do anything more for me unless I submitted to in operation, which I refused to do. About five weeks after I began taking " VITADATIO," and had taken about three large bottles, I passed a large stone about the size of a hazel nut and almost without any pain. The Jaundice has now completely left me, and my appetite has returned ; I can eat anything, can walk alioul and attend to my duties, and feel to he in the best of health. I freely give vou this testimonial, as I wish other sufferers to know about this Wonderful Reme.iy, and I thauk (JoJ that you came to Timaru with it. PHYTOLACCA TABLETS AND JUICE. ; A SAFE REMEDY IN THE TREATMENT OF OBESITY OR CORPULENCY. «y NOT A PATENT MEDICINE "6* From time immemorial it has been noticed that birds feeding on the Phytolaccc Berries became very lean, and yet retained their health perfectly. The earliest mention in medical works we can find of the remedy is in " Hale's New Remedies," p. 561 : "I once suggested the Phytolacca as a remedy in fatty degeneration of the heart, and fatty heart (birds which feed on the berries lose all their adipose tissue)." To Dr W r . M. Griffith, a regular practitioner in Pennsylvania, belongs the honor of ving introduced the remedy in practice. In 1889 he published an article on the subject i the' Medical Summary,' of Philadephia, aud expresses surprise that the Phytolacca j .._ ..^ fc .v.v,vwv.. 11,/ in niio paper we extract the following :—" The dose is one to two tablets before each meal sometimes increased to four. They diminish the appetite to some extent. In some cases the reduction of weight is remarkable, as much as 15 to 20 pounds a month. The reduction is frequently apparent the first week ; a feeling of lightness and comfort follows their administration. One patient lost 40lbs iu 3 months, and suffered no inconvenience • the average is from 10 to 15 pounds a month. .... lam somewhat surprised that this treatment has not received the attention it merits. Phytolacca seem* analogous to lodide of Potash and acts in chronic rheumatism similarly. I have found it efficacious in that rainf.il form of rheumatism of the arms and shoulders of which so many complain. It does not constipate the bowels, hut rather acts as an aperient. It seems to have the power of causing absorption of adipose tissue in a great degree." PHYTOLACCA BERRY TABLETS AND JUICE have passed through their experimental stage. Read what Dr Wise has to say about this remedy :— ■• My experience is that about 75 per ceut. of corpulent people who take it reduce their weight. All corpulent people are more or lens in danger of apoplexy and heart failure, etc., as weft at from rheumatism, are clumsy and heavy about the joints and limbs. Now, Phytolacca will every time reduce the fatty degeneration about the heart, thereby facilitating a free circulation. It has the power of dissolving the fat, and thereby the patient will feel light and active. It will often cure rheumatism that has resisted treatment for years, particularly 4 the kind that effects the shoulders and arms. Personally I can report reductions of flesh that Would seem almost incredible. For instance, I knew a man who weighed 3801b reduced to 1801b in three mouths. I also know of a number of ladies whu have reduced their waist measure 9 and 12 iuches." PHYTOLACCA IS AN ABSOLUTELY SAFE REMEDY. We have it in Tablets, price 2s 6d a Box.
