A QUERY?
To the Editor of the Marlborough Express. Sir, — I recently sold a fine mare in my possession for the sum of £50 but for certain reasons I was inluced to buy it back again for £40. I afterwards sold it to another party for £45. Query : How much did I make out of the transaction ? It would appear that I should make £15s, but I didn’t.—Yours, &c., Toper.
