Melbourne, January 12. At a Cabinet meeting to-day, Mr Munro, Premier, accepted the Agent-Generalship, and Mr Shields succeeds Mr Munro as Premier. Sir F. T. Sargood, and the Hons. Davi3, Ham, and Fraser, members of the Ministry m Council resign with Mr Munro, as they oppose .the ono man -one -vote -principle, which is to be the chief plank m the platform of the re-constructed Ministry at the general election.
