When wounded, he found on returning to consciousness? that his bed at the clearinor station was No. 13. He left England to return £o New Zealand on November 13, 1016, his twenty-fc<?cond birthday, and arrived in Wellington on March 1.3, J917, having beer, left iit Tbo O'H>etown Hospital ,for two ■months. By the vessel on which "ho vßbiu-ned 13 men were brought back to New Zealand.
