COUNTRY CLUBS WI4NT A ' BIGGER PERCENTAGE.
SYDNEY, April 12. Tlie Chief Secretary (Hon.. G. W. Fuller) sympathised with and promised Cabinet consideration for the representations of the racing: clubs in favor of a more liberal per-1 eentage of the. fbtalis'ator fimds. Hef stated that unless the present 3 pcr1 cent, allowance was increased it would" not pay the clubs, and the machine would never be popularised in the_ country.
