Sir Douglas Haig reports: South of tbo Arras^Caxnbrai road this afternoon we stormed the villages of Henincl and Wancourt, with adjoining defences, and •ccupied heights «c the ©astern bank of the Cojeul River, which we crossed. . i\irther progress was made during the day north of the Scarpe and oast <tf Vimy Ridge. Our gains reported during 'the morning north of Vimy Ridge were s«ciu-ed, and -our positions strengthened. - Last night, north-east of Epehy, a large enemy detachment came under the effective fire of our infantry, and suffered heavy casualties. Dining the fighting on the ytii aaii 10th we captured prisoners from all the infantry regiments of sis German divisions. The number of prisoners in each of these divisions exceeds one thousand. In spite of exceedingly bad weather our aeropbUMs were active again yesterday, and seized every opportunity to harass the hostile troops by machine-gun fire Wo brought down 15 enemy machines, and six of ours r.re miss*ig.
