Feilding, Wednesday. The Guardian, contains the following stock report of Mesßrs Haleombe and Sherwill's last cattle sale :— We held our usual, monthly sale of stock at our Warwick-streeit yards, Feilding, on Thursday last. Ther&wasa good attendance, but the bidding was not brisk. Several pens were passed in, but were quitted privately at good prices. The cattle were of first»olass quality. The sheep were all sold at fair prices. The following ars our quotations :— Cattle. — 160 yarded. Cows and calves from £3 12s 6d to £4 ds ; fat cows, from.«4i?s 6d ; fat bullocks, £6 17s Cd ; three to four jear old steers, £5 10s ; eighteen months' old steers from £2 10s to £4. Sheep. — 275 were penned. Mixed ■tores from 6s 9d to 7s 2d. Pigs— 3o yarded. Weanera*, 6a. Horses.— About 20 backs and draughts were offered, but there was no demand.
