CROWN LAND S SALE.
It is elsewhere announced by the Commissioner of Crown Lands that on Thursday, the 15 th February, at 11 o'clock m the forecoon, fo»ty-four sections, varyiiic; m area from 40 to 640 acres will be offered for sale by public auction, at the Institute., Masterton. These sections are situate jn the following surrey districts — namely, Mangaone, Tiffin, Mangapakeha, Waipawa, Wainuioru, Mount Cerberu?, Aohanga, and Mount Robinson. Also, on Monday, the 19th February, applications to purchase the unsold cash sections m the Pohangina surrey district, Manawatu, and m the Tokomarn block (Wanganui), wiU be received at the Land Office^ Wellington. Twenty»five per cent of the purchase money to be paid on the day of sale, and the, balance within one month. Schedules contain* ing particulars as to upset price, area of sections, &3., can be had on application fit the Town Clerk's Office, Masterton ; the offices of the Wanganui Harbor Board ; and at the Land Office, Wellington, '-
