He came out to'thejColony as a clergyman of the Church 1 of England, and being sent by the Bishop 6t Wellington Jo. take duty at Palmerston North, he arrived there inebriated, Since then he appears to have been acting as kitchenman at two or three hotels m Wellington, < and lately' lie threatened to drown hiinsft'f.
