PRODUCE QUOTATIONS.
Several small lines of milling- wheat have been offering at 4s 3d to 4s 6d ; no business is, however, reported. Flom' is quoted at £11 15s (locally), with the market somewhat firm ; fowls' wheat is offering very freely at 3s 6d per bushel. Oats — Several large parcels have changed hands at from 2s 2d to 2s sd, according to sample j maize is quoted at 4s 6d to 4s 9.1 for parcels. A good inquiry existed m the early part of the week for butter j it has, however, sabn sided ; 9£d to lOd is the best prioe obtainable for really prime samples j there are large quantities held by farmers for Is per lb, but as this is the price quoted m Sydney we do not think there will be much business unless the market gets firmer, or holders are more moderate m their demands.
