Work m connection with the erection of the Waipapa Lighthouse appears to be progressing very slowly, a good deal of delay has been caused through the nonarrival of timber which whs required; for it. -When the Stella left the foundations for the tower had, however, been almost completed, and the tower itself was lying m pieces, ready to be pat together.
