Adelaide wheat, ex store, has recovered the fall of Saturday, and is again quoted at 48s { New Zealand ditto remains at 44s to 475, and Adelaide flour at 33s 6d. Australian-tal-low—Best beef, 41s ; best mutton, 42s 6d. . .. v , . . -\j At today's wool sales, 12,300 bales were offered. There was less demand, and prices were occasionally easier. The Garonnn has arrived at Flymouth, and her cargo of frozen meat is reported to be m splendid condition. Mr Gladstone, m the House of Commons, has reiused to give any reason for the Government not appointing H.R.H. the Duke of Albany as Viceroyjn Canada. The Standard suggests that H.R.H. should be appointed Governor of New South Wales or Victoria. Lichung Chang, the Chinese Commander on the Hanoi frontier, has declared that the Chinese rights ia An am will be upheld by military force. It is reported that Hanoi has been captured.
