DROWNED ON L'tftiS WA.ICA.R, A BAR.

Intelligence has reached town from Waitara that the cook of the schooner Coloaist, having 1 lost his passage, took the harbourmasters boat from her rpcjorings for the purpose of crossing the bjr and catching the vessel, whictx had left fifteen minutes previous. On reaching the the bar boat capsized and tho anfortunate manjvas drowned.
