Messrs Stevens & Gorton announce for sale oats, grass-seed, potatoes, Asc. The firm is cash buyers of produce. Mr J. J. Lawior, painter and house-deco-rater, and paperhanger, is now doing an extensive business on Taupo Quay, Wanganui. Mr Arthur Filuier, of Wanganui, has an advertisement elsewhere. This geutlemau is doing a very extensive general commission and insurance business. Mr Dixon, of the Terrace End Store announces a great clearing sale of drapery. Mrs Warue, (late of Clair rille House, Feilding), has opened a respectable private boarding-house m Ashurst, m which undertaking she should receive liberal support. A very valuable farm iv Waikato is offered for sale. Apply Hamilton Bros., Q a een-St. Auckland. Mr Faluierson is inviting tenders for the erection of shops and cottages. Plans at Mr Larcomb's. Mr James Linton announces a very important land sale (date to be hereafter fixed) at which some very valuable properties will be offered. Elsewhere will be found a business notice from Messrs Cazneau and Connolly, pbotogr.iphers, Wellington, which firm has estabI. shed such an excellent reputation for firstclass work m all branches. Hay is offered for sale by an advertiser. It is of the best qualityand has been capitally saved. A well- behaved lad is wanted as apprentice to the Manawatu Standard. Mr George Lonmer announces his starting business as working jeweller m Victoria Avenaa, Wanganui, bis address being nearly opposite the convent. Attention is directed to the new announce* tnent of Messrs George and Dinsdale, who have taken over Manson's hutubery business. Messrs Walker and Hatrick, Eidgwaystreet, Wangauui.are large importers of oats and potatoes, aud do a large busiuess m the general produce Hue. The Napier Corporation is inviting tenders for tbe lease of a valuable endowment near Wo idville. For further particulars see advertisement. Two young men desire employment on a station. The Palmerston Brewery Co., gives notice of a third call of 10s per share. -^ Mr Snelson will hold a pale of furniture and effects at his rooms on Saturday after the fruit tree sale.
