MANAWATU v. WANGANUJ.
Ac a meeting of the committee held on Saturday afternoon, it was resolved that the Wanganui players to contend agaiost the Manawatu County team on Saturday next, shall be chosen from the following : — Alexander, Allison, Craig (2), Gray, Hackett, Lomix, Lockett, Turner, Stewart, Morse, Blyth, K'tchen, Copeland, Coakley, Townsend, Powell, end c mith. The Manawatu team is as follows:— Thomson. Roe, Smith, Clark, Salmon, Jones, Wheeler, Riddiford, Sanderson, Snow, Dawson, Stallard Houston, Moffat, and Taunt» The match will be played on Saturday next on the Recreation Reserve, the game to start at 2 o'clock p.m. sharp. Players are requested to be on the ground at a quarter to 2 o'clock. Mr C. S. Cross will umpire tor Wanganui, md Mr T. H. Caverhill for Manawatu County.
