Oroua County Council.
TO-DAY'S MEETING. (SPECIAL TELEGRAM TO STANDARD.) (From our own correspondent.) At the Oroua County Council meeting to-day there were present Crs Macarthur (chairman), Bailey, Skerman, Engels, Walker, McBeth, Douglas, Sly, and Linton. The Council went into Committee over the Bank overdraft, application for which had been refused by the Bank unless a rate was struck. Letter read from the Chairman of the Otaki Highway Board, making appliestion to be added to the Oroua County. A resolution was passed refusing the application.
