THE BRITISH KING.

The British King lift the Albert Docks/on the afternoon of November 2nd, but the weather being . dark and foggy, and the tide slack, shft archorad below Gravesend for the night. She arrived at Plymouth on No? ember 4th, and on the stb embarked 334 Government immigrants, and sailed at 3 p.m. that day, experiencing a strong southwest gale for the first 30 home, which was \hi only rough weather on the voyage. Arrived at Teneriffe on the evening of November 10, aud remained 19 hours ; sailed again at 2.30 p.m. on , November 11 ; experienced strong tride winds, and crossed the equator j on November 18 m longitude 9 west, j arriving off Table Bay at sunset on the 22nd, After > a passage < f 22 days 8 | iipurs from Plymouth ; went alongside, and- coaled^ next morning, sailing again at 11 piie. on the 25th ; sighted Wei- j lington Heads at 12. 20 a-in. on the 22ad December. The aotnal steaming I time is 44 days 2 hoars. One man died, of pneumonia. There Was no other death or sickness. The passengers speak m the highest term of the treatment on board; Mr Patrick Campbell of Christ- < church has on board two -valuable , thoroughbred racehorses, Informer and \ a King Tom mare, Covcyra. She also brings* a well-bred cow, some prize poultry, and a coup of partridges. All the stock is m first-rate condition. The 'British King has performed the round ! voyage m three months 22 days.
