; Six Waggons Run Away. .

An ; accident occurred on th,tt< railway line tiirie 'evening, When the. .down, train from Masterton had reached the" summit on the Rimu.taka Kill, a stoppage was made to shuiit six waggons, 1 md while this was being done they got away on • fcheir own account: and oame thundering down the incline on this side. The trnin was sent on as soon as possible, and pro» ceeded cautiously until a mile from the summit where the runaway trucks were fpund,haviirg left the line at a sharp curve. Three of the trucks were completely wrecked, and the others are considerably • damaged. The goodp, principally mer* ohandiae, were scattered m all directions. After half an hour's delay the train resumed its journey.
