Bunnythorpe.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) Taonui, January 28. The householders of this district mustered in fair force, considering the bad state of the weather, and elected their committee for the ensuing year. The following are the names : — Messrs W. L. Bailey, Walter Bailey, E. Sexton, B. Parks, J. Brady, J. Picard, and J. Curtis. Mr William L. Bailey was elected Chairman, and Treasurer, and Mr E. Sexton, Secretary. The whole of the proceedings were marked by great unanimity.
