At the meeting- of the Education Board r yesterday, , ; Mr _ . Gr. Carson moved the following-resoiation: — That ,a gommittee, be appointed to consider the cWsirability of discontinuing; the teaching of. the higher Subjects-^t the Wanganui Boys' ari^ Girls' District Hign Schools, and wittibut any further delay to make some other morte satisfactory provision for ; the imparting iof secondai-y education m Wanganui, either establishing a High School proper, or by inaking use of the ad' vantages offered by anothei'edudatioi|al institution. Such committee to consist of the Chairman, with Messrs Baker, Bridge, '.and '.the mover; to report at next inscting.
