ROBBERY BY WOMEN.

[by telegraph.] (united press association.) Dunedin, February 27. At the Police Court to day, Emma Ellis, aud Rhoda A very, were charged j with stealing, at South Danedin, on the 23rd iutant, two £20 notes, one £10, and one £1 note, and also 5 shir studs, the property of William McDongall Matheson. The prosecutor was drunk at the time of the alleged robbery, and w<?flfc~hoine with the two women. The prisoners were committed for trial. The presecutor received the £20 notes back again when he went with the police to the house, and allowed the women to keep the £10.
