CUMULATIVE VOTING.
FroM the Educational Gazette columns of an exchange, we learn that there is every reason to believe that the per*jcious system of cumulative voting m connection with the election of School Committees will be removed at the next meeting of Parliament. This abominable system has been freely commented upon, and ssathingly condemned by the Press throughout the country. So far as we know, not a single voice has been raised or argument urged m its favor, and we are convinced that no sane peison could desire the continuance of such an abominable system unless a handful ot cantaukerous individuals who pine for even the empty honor, of sitting upon a school committee, but would have no show of ever attaining such a position were it not for the method of cumulative voting.
