Attempted Suicide.
Christchurch, March 18
: A bricklayer, named Arthur Henry Brighunore, residing at Sydcnham, attempted to commit suicide by hanging himself. The 'rope, however, broke, and thereby his lite was saved. He has been pronounced insane by one medical man.
