The Direct Steamers.
Christchurch, April 8. - The New Zealand Shipping Company have received a cahle to the. effect that the Doric arrived at Plyinoutn, all well, on Sunday last. The refrigerator was workiug well, and the meat was m prime condition. The British King arrived to-day at the Cape of Good Hope, and the Aorangi,- sailed from Teneritie on April 4th.
