Discovery of Hematite.
- Dunedin, April 8. A seam of hematite ore, which is believed to be valuahle, has been discovered whilst cutting down Dowling* street to its permanent level; It bears very favoiabl« comparison with Nelsony and also with English samples, aiid has been tried at the Hillside workshops satisfactorily.
