The edifice was densely crowded m all parts. Amongst those present were the GoVerncjr of Tasmania, Commodore Ersklne,j and Lady LoftuSj witli a lai ge number !of the elite of the /City. Eleven Bishops from provinces and from other colonies and numerous clergy assisted at the ct%remony, the service was most, impressive throughout,' musical portion Hieing especially well rendered. ■
